This is a revamp of a song that I wrote back in the mid-90's called "Understand." I recorded it back then, and it was on some of the home-made "Shuteye" tapes I made available for a while. Most of the rest of those songs got re-made for "Any Raw Flesh?" and "Salve", but this one never did. I was always dissatisfied with the melody/lyrics of "Understand", so I never used it for an album. I've always liked the music, though, and for a while I thought about trying to farm it out to another vocalist to sing.

This week I just decided to make an honest attempt at a re-write, and I'm pretty happy with how it came out.
